Saturday 20th October - James leaves coaching role wih under 15's

It is with regret that James has decided to step down from his coaching role with the under 15's after 5 1/2 years. Due to locaton and travelling he has found it harder and harder to commit his time to the team. With his commitments with the first team and trying to balance that with work and his partner Samantha he has found it extremely tiring and financially hard.

It was a very hard decision for him. " Wealdstone FC is a massive part of my life. I have supported them since I was 5 years old and have taken on many roles in my time with the club. I am very proud to have managed a Wealdstone team and can hold my head up high, knowing I gave my all to the cause and be proud of my achievements" he said.

"This was not an easy decision to make but my head ruled my heart in the end and I realised it was the right thing to do. I will still come and watch the team play at home when I can and also carry on with admin work to help Terry".

"I have many great memories, none more so that when we won promotion in our first season in 11-a-side football. The emotions at Heathrow Club that day were amazing and I will never forget it"

"I have made many great friends along the way and will still see them as much as I can and keep in touch with them all. I would like to thank them for all their support and effort over the past few years and wish them well"

"I will still remain on the committee and hope to offer assistance to Alison and John in an admin sense in the near future".
